The Allstate Foundation has provided a grant to VIDA to support a partnership with Mujeres Unidas. The project will empower survivors of domestic violence to achieve their educational and job related goals. In addition to VIDA's core services, Mujeres Unidas will implement Allstate's Financial Empowerment curriculum which helps women recognize and stop financial abuse. Since 1952, The Allstate Foundation has been dedicated to a straightforward purpose: helping people. The Foundation has created practical, proven programs for thousands of individuals and families to help them overcome personal challenges and uncertainties - leading to better, safer lives. Working with our community partners across the country, The Allstate Foundation makes long-term security a reality for survivors of domestic abuse. They are committed to helping survivors build their financial skills as a way to escape abusive relationships, get safe, stay safe and thrive.
